New interactive game debuts at Louisiana’s largest inclusionary playground

METAIRIE (WVUE) – A new interactive game that challenges children to hunt for cricket sounds while making new friends has debuted at Lafreniere Park’s Tripp’s Treehouse, adding a new element to Louisiana’s largest inclusionary playground.

The cricket hunting game is the first of its kind in the country and the latest addition to the $1 million playset. Little Tikes donated the equipment to Jefferson Parish.

Children spin gears until a button turns green, then listen for noises to win the game.
