Moreno kicks off search for ‘one of the most consequential positions’ in New Orleans

New Orleans Mayor-elect Helena Moreno kicked off her search Monday for new city attorney, a position appointed by the mayor that could have a new job description if voters approve a charter amendment on November’s ballot.

Leading Moreno’s search for the city’s next chief legal officer are former city attorney Sharonda Williams and trial lawyer Jennifer Greene, according to a press release from Moreno’s transition.
