The streets of New Orleans are about to temporarily turn into a movie set, complete with the echoes of simulated gunfire. In an official notification, the City of New Orleans announced that Get Da Bag Productions, LLC will be filming in the 4500 block of N. Rampart St., notably next Monday and Tuesday between the early hours of 5 a.m. and the late hour of 9 p.m. Residents and businesses of the Big Easy are being given the heads up to expect the extraordinary and, surely, to carefully navigate the area.
Amid concerns of safety and disturbance, the City has been keen to point out that all necessary permits are in place. “Filming will include simulated gunfire on Tuesday, Nov. 4, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.,” the City explained, a detail to note for anyone planning to casually stroll around. These theatrical happenings have been fully approved and permitted by Film New Orleans.
