NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – While the New Orleans City Council and staffers with Mayor LaToya Cantrell’s administration grapple with the city’s $160 million budget deficit, thousands of city employees question if there’s enough cash on hand for payroll through January.
“It’s not great, especially going into the holiday season,” Amanda Fallis said of the uncertainty.
