The Arctic front, bringing the coldest weather of the year to thousands across the country, is on its way to southern Louisiana.
Beginning early next week, there will be a dramatic change in temperature, from the 80’s on Saturday and Sunday to the 30’s and 20’s Monday and Tuesday.
A Freeze Watch is now in effect through Tuesday morning at 9 AM for areas along and north of the I-12 corridor in southeast Louisiana and all of coastal Mississippi.
