NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is looking for a woman who is accused of stealing a package in Lakeview. The case is the latest one to roll on the Wheel of Justice.
According to police, the crime happened on Friday, Oct. 24, in the 6400 block of Canal Boulevard. Police also released security camera footage from the area that shows much of what happened.

In the video, a woman is seen parking a car on the street then walking toward the front porch of a house. About 20 seconds later, a delivery truck pulls up and the driver exits it with a package. As the driver approaches the same house, the woman turns to meet him. That’s when he is seen handing her a package.
After the delivery driver leaves, the woman walks back to her parked car and also drives away. The person who lives in the house where it happened told WGNO News that the package contained a credit card, and within minutes, whoever stole the card allegedly used it to withdraw about $1,400 from a nearby ATM.
