Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in the 4200 block of La Couture Drive in Harvey.
The sheriff’s office says around 10 a.m., deputies were sent to investigate a burglary at the address.
“Upon their arrival, they met with a complainant who directed them to an unresponsive black male who appeared to be suffering from a gunshot wound,” said Capt. Jason Rivarde with the sheriff’s office. “The male was pronounced dead on the scene.”…
