NEW ORLEANS — Three men were carjacked early Friday morning in New Orleans, police said.
The incident happened around 2:56 a.m. at Lincoln Beach Boulevard and Jourdan Road, according to a New Orleans Police Department report. The victims were traveling in a 2003 Chrysler 300 when a group of five to six unknown suspects approached the vehicle.
One suspect opened the car door and took a firearm from the center console. The suspects initially let the men leave but followed them in a white SUV.
