NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The Sewerage and Water Board (SWBNO) sent Bre Dalton a letter this month saying it’s not sure what material makes up her water service line.
“What do you mean the material is unknown?” she said.
The letter promised to help replace the pipe if it’s found to contain lead or galvanized steel. It also cautions, “even if you have a lead pipe, it does not necessarily mean your tap water contains lead.”…
