New Orleans Police Department, JPSO to continue search of missing plane in Lake Pontchartrain

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office LASER Division and the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office are working in collaboration on the search regarding the missing plane in Lake Pontchartrain.

JPSO’s LASER Division and STPSO helped the NOPD on Nov. 24 and 25 by conducting specialized sonar exploration and imagery.

According to the NOPD, several objects were identified and examined by the Dive Team. As of right now, the NOPD said the objects are believed to be debris connected to the missing plane.
