COVINGTON, La. — Antoine Massey, one of the 10 men who escaped the Orleans Parish jail in May, was convicted of rape and kidnapping in St. Tammany Parish on Wednesday.
After more than an hour of deliberations, the jury found Massey, 32, guilty on all charges. The counts include first-degree rape, second-degree kidnapping, domestic abuse battery involving strangulation and violating a protective order.
