Eugene Green III Dec. 5 formally launched his campaign to replace outgoing New Orleans Rep. Matthew Willard in the Louisiana House of Representatives.
The son of New Orleans City Council Member Eugene Green Jr., Green III has been quietly building support for his run since Willard won his race to replace Mayor-elect Helena Moreno on the council as an at-large member.
