Man booked with manslaughter after wife fatally shot outside Harvey home

HARVEY, La. (WVUE) – A 66-year-old Harvey man was booked with attempted murder and manslaughter Saturday (Dec. 6) after allegedly shooting and killing his wife when she intervened in an argument he was having with her son, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office said.

The incident occurred around 10:15 a.m. outside a house in the 2200 block of Deerlick Lane, authorities said.
