Efforts to maintain community safety in Kenner recently culminated in the capture of a wanted individual, highlighting the benefits of governmental partnership. In a social media update from the Kenner Police Department, authorities expressed appreciation to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for their role in detaining a Cuban national with a history of violent offenses.
Last Thursday, following Operation Catahoula Crunch, Border Patrol Agents were able to positively identify and to peacefully apprehend Jorge Vierra-Serrano. According to a post by Kenner Police, he was located at a residence on the 1100 block of Lesan Drive and is known for a violent criminal past, including forcible rape and aggravated burglary.
