NEW ORLEANS — Police are searching for a person who attacked and wounded a person at a bus stop in front of the New Orleans Public Library on Tuesday.
Around 7 p.m., Tulane University police officers were called to the RTA bus stop at 219 Loyola Avenue, near the library and Tulane’s Downtown Campus, and found an unconscious person with multiple head wounds. The victim told officers someone had cut her, but wasn’t able to give them any further information.
Police reviewed security cameras and learned the assault happened at about 6:25 p.m. The video showed a person wearing a black hooded jacket, gray shirt and light-colored pants attacking the victim. Moments later, police said the culprit boarded a nearby RTA bus and fled the area…
