NEW ORLEANS — As arctic cold moves into southeast Louisiana, Second Harvest Food Bank is providing hot meals to people sheltering from freezing temperatures. They will be giving out the meals starting Sunday until Monday at the Rosenwald Recreation Center, which will also operate as a warming center.
A Cold Weather Advisory has been issued starting on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 9 p.m. until Monday, Dec. 15 at 9 a.m., according to NOLA Ready.
