NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office announced a verdict and sentence for a man who was responsible for the 2021 murder of Jaquwyne Williams.
On Friday, Dec. 5, a jury delivered a guilty-as-charged verdict for Gregory R. Jynes. Along with his second-degree murder charge, he was also convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm and obstruction of justice.
Jynes was sentenced to life in prison for the murder conviction and will serve two concurrent 20-year sentences for the firearm and obstruction of justice charges…
