There will be no white Christmas in Louisiana this year: ‘Santa may be taking a jet ski’

Christmas Day in Louisiana likely won’t involve keeping warm with chestnuts on an open fire and hot cocoa. Early forecasts this week point to above average weather for the state, leaving little hope for a white Christmas on the bayou.

Louisiana — along with much of the South — will likely have above normal temperatures next week, forecasters with the National Weather Service said.
