NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Only a small number of Border Patrol agents will stay in New Orleans over the next few days as the U.S. Department of Homeland Security plans to redeploy them to Chicago, according to a source familiar with the plans.
The source says the Department is sending its Border Patrol agents back to Chicago after DHS says Illinois Governor JB Pritzker claimed to have run federal agents on an immigration crackdown operation out of town.
