Construction, hospitality hardest hit by Operation Catahoula Crunch

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Before Operation Catahoula Crunch officially launched two weeks ago, members of the local Hispanic and Latino community were already bracing for what was to come.

“Many people, a lot of women in the hotel and tourism industry started to say I’m not showing to the job because of the fear,” said Brenda Murphy, owner and CEO of the multimedia company Jambalaya News Louisiana.
