NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — We are less than a month out from Mayor-elect Helena Moreno’s inauguration, and we got a chance to discuss the state of the city in this WGNO exclusive report.
On the heels of her inauguration announcement, Moreno spoke with Moving New Orleans Forward anchor LBJ about a variety of topics, beginning with the city’s financial crisis and how it may affect changes she wants to make at City Hall.
“I mean, that’s a great question, and I get it asked all the time. What’s good about what I want to do, and what I talked about during the campaign that I’ve, that I wanted to accomplish, a lot of it didn’t really have to do with money. It had to do with leadership, accountability, working with urgency and working with more coordination and collaboration. Those things, I know, that I can get done,” said Moreno.
