The New Orleans Police Department confirmed two senior police officers were terminated Thursday following disciplinary hearings.
Christopher Jennings, a 16-year NOPD veteran, and Reginald Koeller, a 21-year NOPD veteran, were both dismissed.
“The department takes allegations of misconduct seriously and addresses them through established disciplinary processes to maintain public trust,” said officer Reese Harper, the NOPD’s director of communications in an emailed statement. “The NOPD remains committed to accountability, professionalism and upholding the highest standards of conduct.”…
