NEW ORLEANS — Multiple accidents on I-10 East shut down the Twin Span Bridge on Christmas Eve as a Dense Fog Advisory is in effect from 7 p.m. Wednesday until Thursday, Dec. 25 at 10 a.m.
“We have cleared the scene of multiple accidents on (Twin Spans) I-10 eastbound near mile marker 256! Thick fog blankets the area, and while injuries are thankfully minor,” the St. Tammany Fire Protection District #1 in a Facebook post.
