KENNER, La (WVUE) – Sylvester’s Western Wear, a family-owned shop known for its rustic charm and western goods, will close its doors Jan. 5 after decades in business.
Founder Ronnie Sylvester, known as “Mr. Boot” in the country and western industry, ran the store until his death in 2020 following a battle with Parkinson’s disease. His wife, Lisa Sylvester, has operated the business since.
