MARRERO, La. (WVUE) – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a truck Sunday evening in what the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office said was the second fatal crash in Marrero that day.
Deputies responded around 6:40 p.m. to the 5900 block of 4th Street after an adult male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, according to the sheriff’s office.
The initial investigation shows the man was walking eastbound on 4th Street when he was struck from behind by a truck that was also traveling eastbound. The man was pronounced dead at the scene…
