One man is dead and another is in a hospital after two separate shootings that happened in New Orleans early Monday morning.
The first happened just before 4 a.m. on Chef Menteur Highway near Crowder Boulevard. Police say they responded to a call of shots fired in the area. When officers arrived on scene, they found the victim dead of gunshot wounds.
The second shooting occurred on South Roman Street near Perdido Street. Police say they learned about the shooting around 4 a.m. after a man went to an area hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound…
