Freezing conditions are on the way, with forecasters expecting temperatures below 32° on both sides of the lake over the next couple of nights.
National Weather Service meteorologist Mike Efferson says you should cover your plants and pipes to protect them from the cold. He also urges you to protect yourself because the cold temperatures could pose a danger if you’re planning to be outside for any length of time.
“It’s not brutal, but it’s something that you need to pay attention to if you’re out for any period of time,” Efferson said. “Just being outside. Wind chills are the other thing we’re looking at.”…
