Harry Connick Jr. to serve as artistic director for Rockin’1000 U.S. debut in Big Easy

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Entertainer Harry Connick Jr. is making his way back home to the Crescent City.

On Saturday, Jan. 31, the New Orleans native will accompany the Rockin’1000 to serve as the special guest Artistic Director. Exclusively for their U.S. debut, Connick will create an entire act of the live show that will be a “global celebration of the New Orleans spirit.”

The set will feature local musicians and New Orleans moments to capture the full essence of the Big Easy.
