Letters: Rouses showed how to be a good corporate citizen

After reading David Waldron Anderson’s guest column, “What if corporate America learned from Scrooge?” I reflected on my Christmas Eve shopping experience at Rouses on Carrollton.

There were no parking spaces in their lot. Customers were parking on Bienville Street. Once in the parking lot, you had to find a basket.

In the store, there were no more than two people in any of the lines. There were no long lines because every cash register in the store had a cashier checking you out…
