GRANT PARISH, La. (KALB) – Two people have been arrested for trying to bring drugs into the Federal Prison in Grant Parish, according to the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Chandele Newman, 36, of New Orleans, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Morphine with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Ecstasy with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana with the Internet to Distribute, Possession of Synthetic Marijuana, Illegal Carrying of Weapons with Drugs and Taking Contraband into a Penal Institution…
