NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A mild Wednesday saw temperatures peaking in the middle 60s, ahead of the next cold front that will push in at night.

Winds will increase dramatically, with gusts of 20-30 miles per hour pushing in the colder air.

Morning lows Thursday will drop to around freezing north of Lake Pontchartrain, and into the 30s and low 40s south…
