OPSO investigates in-custody death at Orleans Justice Center, sheriff says

NEW ORLEANS — The Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office (OPSO) is investigating after a person died while being held at the Orleans Justice Center Sunday night.

The sheriff’s office is working to notify the person’s family, and officials say the case is still under investigation.
