NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Multiple vehicles were set on fire overnight in the Bywater neighborhood, according to the New Orleans Fire Department.
Neighbors reported the incidents occurred on Montegut and Dauphine streets, and then on Dauphine and Desire streets.
The NOFD says 8 vehicles were intentionally set on fire, beginning around 1:45 a.m. Monday (Jan. 19). Responders first got on the scene in the 900 block of Montegut Street and then began noticing several other fires in progress…
