A chain of fires erupted in a New Orleans neighborhood overnight after firefighters arrived to extinguish a car that was intentionally lit on fire, officials said.
Firefighters were first called around 1:46 a.m. to the Bywater neighborhood outside the French Quarter for a call of a car on fire, according to a news release by the New Orleans Fire Department.
