Operation Boo Dat 2025 Leads to Arrest of 38 Predators and Felons and Rescue of Endangered Child in New Orleans

Operation Boo Dat 2025 has concluded following a multi-agency effort that resulted in the arrest of 38 individuals, including sexual predators and other felony suspects. The operation ran from October 16, 2025, through Saturday last week, and involved the New Orleans Police Department, the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office, and multiple partner agencies.

According to a press release from the U.S. Marshals Service, 12 of those arrested were wanted for felony sex offender registration violations, with some having failed to comply with registration requirements for more than five years. During the operation, law enforcement also recovered an endangered 1½-year-old child from Baton Rouge through coordination between the U.S. Marshals Service Middle District of Louisiana Task Force and the Northern Florida Missing Child Unit.
