NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating after a body was found near the Mississippi River in the Marigny on Wednesday morning, Jan. 21.
According to officers, around 7:38 a.m., a man was found unresponsive under the wharf near North Peters Street and Franklin Avenue.
