New Orleans man sentenced to 30 years in attempted murder case in Donaldsonville

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A New Orleans man who pleaded guilty in connection with a 2022 shooting at a Donaldsonville home that left one person injured was sentenced to 30 years.

Markeith Martin, 33, was sentenced Jan. 13 after pleading guilty to a charge of attempted second-degree murder in August.
