Flames tore through a New Orleans home as temperature fell near freezing Monday night.
“The New Orleans Fire Department (NOFD) was dispatched to 2251 Baronne Street. Upon arrival, companies encountered heavy fire in a two-story dwelling,” NOFD Captain Quentin Brown said in a news release.
Witnesses reported flames shooting out of the back of the home.
“Fire crews entered the structure and initiated fire suppression operations, searching for any additional occupants. A second alarm was struck to provide additional staffing.”…
