NEW ORLEANS — A crash Wednesday morning blocked the right lane of I-59 southbound at the Mississippi-Louisiana state line.
According to Total Traffic New Orleans, traffic was at a standstill and backups stretched into Picayune near the MS-43/Memorial Boulevard exit. Drivers headed south were encouraged to use I-10 as an alternate route while crews work to clear the scene.
