Marrero man charged in ‘horrific’ stabbing at West Bank gas station

Two months after a 49-year-old man was attacked and stabbed eight times in the parking lot of a West Bank gas station, the alleged getaway driver has been charged and arraigned, according to Jefferson Parish court records.

Demond Jackson, 33, also known as Demond Francois, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to being an accessory after the fact to attempted second-degree murder.
