NEW ORLEANS — The East New Orleans Regional Library will temporarily close starting Monday, Feb. 2, as crews begin work to repair the roof and replace the building’s HVAC system.
Library officials say the repairs are part of a “long-awaited Capital Project” aimed at fixing critical systems and keeping staff and visitors comfortable during New Orleans’ changing weather.
The library is expected to reopen in about three months. Once work is finished there, similar repairs will move to another library location…
