Carjacking suspects ram and steal vehicle on I-610

NEW ORLEANS — Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating two people wanted in connection with a carjacking on Interstate 610 last month.

According to New Orleans Police, the incident occurred around 9:28 p.m. on Jan. 22 near the Louisa Street exit. Police said the victim was traveling eastbound when a black vehicle collided with the rear of his car.

After the victim stopped, he was confronted by one of the suspects, who was armed. The suspect forced the victim to empty his pockets and took his belongings, including the keys to his car. They used the keys to steal the car as a second suspect drove away in the vehicle that caused the initial collision…
