New Orleans Police Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick says there will not be criminal charges against the float riders removed from a Krewe of Carrollton float over claims they were being overly aggressive with their throws, pelting police officers during Sunday’s parade.
“No, that was just an event,” she said. “There’s not going to be any criminal charges associated with the event.”
