A national guardsman leaving his rifle inside a French Quarter restroom over the weekend is raising concerns.
The State’s National Guard is investigating the incident, but the hotel staff moved quickly to make sure everyone stayed safe, while the weapon was away from the guardsman.
The owner at the Lafitte Hotel says he also works in law enforcement, and while he says it is very dangerous to leave a weapon behind, he says he understands sometimes potentially costly mistakes happen too…
