Early today turned deadly in New Orleans’ Hollygrove neighborhood, where police say a man was shot and later died after officers responded to a call on Hamilton Street shortly before 12:48 a.m. Officers found the victim on the 3300 block of Hamilton Street, and New Orleans EMS rushed him to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
