On February 12, 2026, shortly after 6 AM, Louisiana State Police Troop C began investigating to a two-vehicle serious injury crash on U.S. Highway 90 near Cypress Drive in Lafourche Parish. The crash ultimately claimed the life of 52-year-old Kenneth McMillan of New Orleans.
The preliminary investigation revealed that McMillan was driving a 2023 Toyota RAV4 eastbound on U.S. Highway 90, while a 2021 Chevrolet Colorado was traveling westbound. For reasons still under investigation, the Toyota traveled off the roadway to the left, crossed the center median into the westbound lanes, and struck the Chevrolet head-on.
McMillan sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died. The driver of the Chevrolet sustained moderate injuries and was transported to an out-of-area hospital. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the crash…
