One person was killed and two others were wounded in a Village De L’Est shooting Sunday evening, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Police were called at 5:58 p.m. to the 13500 block of Granville Street in the New Orleans East neighborhood, where they found three people wounded by gunfire. The victims were transported to a local hospital, where one died, according to police.
