NEW ORLEANS – Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries in coordination with Louisiana State Police arrested a subject for alleged illegal firearm and drug possession on Bourbon St. on Feb. 17.
Agents arrested Talaska Demouchet, 23, of Breaux Bridge, and booked him into the Orleans Parish Jail for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a machine gun, possession of marijuana, negligent carrying of a firearm, violating concealed carry law, and illegal carrying of weapons while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS).
Around 1:50 a.m. agents were on patrol on the 500 block of Bourbon St. when they observed Demouchet smoking marijuana. Agents made contact with Demouchet and found him in possession of 22.6 grams of suspected marijuana, a 9mm pistol and 33 9mm bullets…
