Shia LaBeouf is still spending time in New Orleans, one week after the actor was arrested and charged with two counts of simple battery after an alleged altercation that took place during Mardi Gras celebrations in the city.

LaBeouf, 39, was photographed wearing a red fleece sweatshirt and hoodie in New Orleans on Monday, Feb. 23. The actor moved to New Orleans “as a reset” and to spend more time with his father following his split from Mia Goth last year, a source recently told PEOPLE.

The actor’s presence in the city received significant public attention when he was arrested in the French Quarter neighborhood on Feb. 17. In a statement provided to PEOPLE, the New Orleans Police Department alleged that LaBeouf punched two men after causing a disturbance at a business on Royal Street. The department alleged the actor “used his closed fists on the victim several times,” left the scene, and returned later, where he allegedly struck the same victim and punched another man “in the nose.” He was later transported to a hospital where he was treated for unknown injuries, and then arrested…
