New Orleans day care worker gets prison for burning baby with bottle warmer

A New Orleans day care worker was headed to prison this week after pleading guilty to juvenile cruelty charges, accused of intentionally burning an infant’s hand in a bottle warmer.

Victoria Saulter, 29, expressed remorse to the child’s mother over the 2023 burning as she stood shackled in court on Monday, soon after she pleaded guilty to second-degree cruelty to juveniles and cruelty to juveniles.
